I like village life very much. I drew two cows, and one is behind the women. People are working in the paddy fields. I chose this scene because I like to see traditional life in the village.
My family is made up of me, my parents and a small sister. I like singing songs and painting. I spend my free time playing with my friends. I hope to become a doctor.

I drew a picture of our religious faith. According to Buddhism, sinful common people like us go along the road through life as a circle (birth and death). They carry their sin along with them. But some wise men liberate from all those by receiving the self-realization with a clear conscience. I selected this scene to depict the universal truth that we all have to face and to show how to get liberation from all those bondages.
My family is built up of myself, my mother and my father. I like to help others in their troubles. I don’t like people who insult others. I spend my free time meditating, playing badminton and going on picnics. My foremost aim is to be a doctor and serve the community.

This picture shows the love of a mother and how she protects her children. You can see elder brother and sister. They seem very happy in their family. This is a common sight in Sri Lanka. I chose this scene because parents love their children very much. Their family is their whole world. I wish to be with my parents all of the time.
“In my family there is my father, mother, younger brother and me. I like music and drawing. I do not like fighting. I spend my free time playing the violin and bird watching. I hope to be an engineer.”
