The moment I am sharing is about the traditional pageant held in Sri Lanka. There are many kinds of dancers. They show traditional dancing items in our country. It is held in Kandy. This city is sacred to Sri Lanka. My picture shows the religious, cultural traditions of our country.

The moment I am sharing is having a meal in a paddy field. This picture shows a plowing ceremony in a village. They plow the paddy field to cultivate paddy. For this the villagers join this work free of charge. Now they are having the lunch specially prepared. I want to show that we value our local food which is rich in nutrients and the importance of having a meal together.

My father died when I was in pre-school. I live with my mother and sister. In my free time I like to draw. I read storybooks too. I like to study hard to pass my exams and I don’t like to be idle. I want to be an artist when I grow up and holding an exhibition is my goal.
